Fine Art Nature & Intimate Landscape Photographer Jeanette Gruszczynski Into the Fog

It would not be a surprise to anyone who knows me that I love photographing on a foggy day as much as I love photographing cloudscapes and going out to photograph nature in the rain. Each of these weather conditions for me transforms a place and creates a mood and sometimes feels like you are being transported to another time.

I was so excited when I had the fabulous opportunity to go out to Hanging Rock State Park and Pilot Mountain State Park on the same day in the fall of 2017 to photograph both parks while they were enveloped in the fog and mist.

So in this Series, Into the Fog I wanted to illustrate how beautiful the scene was through my eyes and how the autumn colors popped even more because of it. For this adventure, I decided to photograph the scenes with my Lensbaby Edge 80 optic. With the ability to shoot macro, change to a tilt-shift or shoot straight without tilting for me, it was the perfect choice to handle any situation I may have encountered.

Moonlight disappears down the hills, mountains vanish into fog and I vanish into poetry.
