Looking Forward To Spring | North Carolina Photographer

Friday, March 5th, 2010

Hi and Happy Friday to you!

I have been wishing all week for Spring to arrive after the Winter we’ve had which still isn’t as bad as some places I am still really looking forward to Spring.

I am looking forward to seeing all the new goslings that were born during the winter.

I am looking forward to all the new floral bloom and taking in the fresh air as I take my favorite doggie on a long walk.

I am Looking forward to watching baseball on TV as well as playing catch with my family in the backyard.

Spring is a sign of renewal and new beginnings so I am taking that philosophy to start fresh and set my sights on new goals and tackle any obstacles that comes my way with a different approach to reach my highest potential. It’s a scary but great feeling so as we prepare for daylight savings time on the 14th and the official start of Spring on the 20th I prepare myself for this new journey I am about to embark on.

So as I conclude this blog post I hope you think about all the great things you want to embark on this Spring as well as the things you would like to do to start anew and as you do always remember to take time to enjoy your view.

I Tease You…I tease You Not! | North Carolina Photographer

Saturday, February 27th, 2010

Happy Saturday to you all I hope you are enjoying your day. The weather here in the Piedmont area of North Carolina is beautiful so we are trying to soak it in before we get hit with the bad weather coming this week.

Since I have been busy this week and not had a chance to blog yet I decided to share one of my favorite photos of the week so this week’s honor goes to our beautiful girl Midnight.

Midnight is so funny she loves to play and tease our son so in the photo below she was teasing our son after she had gotten the ball away from him. Check out the tongue Midnight is trying to look innocent while trying to stick her tongue out at him without getting caught.

If you are an animal lover like me and you love to look at pet photos if you get a chance stop by my pet photography website Jeanette’s Pet Photography you will get to see more photos of Midnight and other cutie pooties I have photographed.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend until next time always remember to take time out to enjoy your view.

This past weekend we got our share of snow but compared to some other places 3 inches wasn’t that bad as a  matter of fact, as fast as it came it left. Now of course I had to take some photos of the beautiful white stuff falling from the sky so I can share them with all of you so without further please enjoy our Snowy Weekend photos.

For those who may not know who this pretty girl is in the next photo well, this is Midnight my black lab mix she loved every minute of playing in the snow. She is the inspiration for my pet photography business Jeanette’s Pet Photography you’ll see her photos everywhere among other cuties pootie furbabies so if you every get the chance stop by www.jeanettespetphotography.com. Btw, in this photo Midnight was fascinated by the falling snow on the roof and trees so every time a birds came and landed they would make the snow fall even more so she was thinking of how she was going to get those birds from messing with the snow.

I think I am Going To Type Myself A Letter | North Carolina Photographer

Monday, February 8th, 2010

This week photo is a picture I came across when I was cleaning out my folders and forgot the fact that I never shared it with you. It’s from my North Carolina Transportation Museum series and was one of the exhibits offering us a glimpse of the different ways of communication and how it evolved over the years. It was very interesting to see the different items and being able to touch them was an added plus.

I thought about processing it black and white for all you all know by now it’s my favorite but decided against it. Instead, I wanted to create old color film processing it was just screaming for it and I am so glad that I did for I love how it turned out I hope you do as well.
