This week photo is a picture I came across when I was cleaning out my folders and forgot the fact that I never shared it with you. It’s from my North Carolina Transportation Museum series and was one of the exhibits offering us a glimpse of the different ways of communication and how it evolved over the years. It was very interesting to see the different items and being able to touch them was an added plus.

I thought about processing it black and white for all you all know by now it’s my favorite but decided against it. Instead, I wanted to create old color film processing it was just screaming for it and I am so glad that I did for I love how it turned out I hope you do as well.

This photo was taken the day I went to The NC Transportation Museum last Fall. We were headed toward the turntables when I looked over and noticed this area I just loved everything about it.

Taking a little detour from our Grandfather Mountain post I decided to take you back to The North Carolina Transportation Museum to check out some classic cars. My family and I love classic cars and we love to go to the classic cars shows so we were excited to checkout the classic cars they had the museum true we had seen them before but it was so many years ago that it was like seeing them for the first time.
All the cars are kept in mint condition or true and have either a rope or mini white gate to prevent visitors from getting too close and getting any finger prints on them so it was a challenge to get photos without the barriers in the photo plus shooting in narrow areas so that you can appreciate their beauty but I think these turned out pretty cool considering the limitations.

The race car below is the only one that we saw that showed any wear on it especially in the front but then again what would one expect it was after all a race car.

As promised in this weeks blog I will be taking you inside to one of the exhibits they had at the museum even though the museum is known for their locomotive they did have this antique airplane on display, which I believe is from the 1940’s.
