I hope all are doing well!
In my neck of the woods we are experiencing a heatwave that is going on 2 weeks so needlessly to say there’s no better place like the inside my house with the AC cranked up.
Anyway, for this weeks post I thought it would be fun to post some photos of the Charlotte Knights mascot Homer.
Homer really makes it fun for all who attend the game especially the kids he interacts with as many as he can before and after the game.
He entertains the crowds in between innings by playing games and shooting off t-shirts to the fans.
Below are just a few moments I captured of Homer when we attended the game.
Revving up the crowd!

After the end of one of the innings Homer challenged one fan to a race around the field.
They started at home base then Homer had to run to 3rd while the little girl ran to 1st base
with the goal to be the first one to run all around the bases and be the first one to return home.
The girl really got a kick out of it you could see she had so much fun.

Below Homer is interacting with the fans shaking hands and saying hi to the crowd.

I felt so honored that Homer singled me out to say Hi…see he is waving to me.

He even did his signature pointing to say hi and it was just for me…Oh, Homer I am so flattered.

Well, that’s all the blogging for this week I hope you enjoyed the photos. If you missed any of my other Knights Baseball blog post you can check them out here: Before The Game and Play Ball!
Until next time, always remember to take time out to enjoy your view.
