I was so excited to finally see the leaves change near me after visiting the mountains 2 weeks ago I could not wait. Stay tune for next week’s blog as I give you a small taste of our scenic drive to the mountains in what I call “Scenes From The Car”.

Anyway, I normally photograph the leaves and trees near me after my morning walk each year because the sun is just rising and the light is so beautiful and I planned this year on doing it earlier in the week but we had rain so I took the opportunity today on a dry morning to shoot them especially with the drops of rain and dew from yesterday.

Below are a few photos I took from this morning.

1. The sun was just starting to rise …I love to see the leaves on the floor and listening to the rustling noise it makes as you walk on them

6. I wanted to roll in it and play but I decided not to I didn’t want the neighbors to think I was crazy.
