Blades

Monday, February 27th, 2012

I have a morning routine in which I come downstairs and fix myself some homemade fresh blueberry juice using my Ninja, which I love.

Well, every morning the cup and blade I use are there sitting on the counter just waiting for me to use it nothing too special about it except one morning I came down making my way to the kitchen in the dark when I noticed how shiny the blades to the Ninja was and how out of everything there it was the only thing to be easily seen in the dark.

Anyway, that just got me interested in photographing it and below is the result.

From the archives… Jellyfish

Monday, February 20th, 2012

I was sorting my photos once again taking things in and out of my portfolio when I came across this photo of a jellyfish.

My family and I were at the Discovery Place visiting the underwater exhibits we loved the beautiful water tanks that were built inside the wall so that all only a small portion of the tank showed.  They were beautifully lit giving the water such a gorgeous shade of blue. As we admired the exhibit I saw this one jellyfish swimming up and down the glass and loved how it looked like it glowed so I pressed the camera right up the glass and shot a few below is my favorite one.
