Welcome to the first post of 2012 and my new blog home.

I spent the last of 2011 cleaning house and streamlining all my sites.

I still have some ways to go but I love the direction it’s going.

Anyway, on to the real reason for this post.

I’ve been saving all of the pasta sauce jars I’ve purchased along the way in the hopes of one day making my own pasta sauce.

The jars are so cute they have measurements on them and I thought it would be a great way to recycle and use them.

Well, it dawned on me one day in late November as I was getting ready to decorate for Christmas to use a couple of them and fill them with potpourri and put them in my center butcher block table in my kitchen. I like how it turned it’s simple and serves 2 purposes one to decorate my kitchen while filling the air with a wonderful scent.
