From the archives… Jellyfish

February 20th, 2012

I was sorting my photos once again taking things in and out of my portfolio when I came across this photo of a jellyfish.

My family and I were at the Discovery Place visiting the underwater exhibits we loved the beautiful water tanks that were built inside the wall so that all only a small portion of the tank showed.  They were beautifully lit giving the water such a gorgeous shade of blue. As we admired the exhibit I saw this one jellyfish swimming up and down the glass and loved how it looked like it glowed so I pressed the camera right up the glass and shot a few below is my favorite one.

In The Mist Of Fog… Scenes From The Car

February 6th, 2012

One of my favorite ways to take photographs is from the car as long as I do not get in my hubby’s way when he is driving he let’s me snap away.

I call my collection series of this type of photographs Scenes From The Car.

I really must take time out to sort through some of my older photos and share them.

Anyway, the photo below is from one our trips to the mountains on a very early Saturday morning.

It was drizzling, fogging and misty making a great “Scenes From The Car” photo opportunity.
